The School is aimed at developing students to be professionals of "foreign language + specialty, double foreign language users and talents of applied, compound foreign oriented affairs.”There are nearly 8,000 graduates from this school. Over the past five years, students have actively participated in various discipline competitions, such as the National Teaching Competition, English Speech Competition and English Interpretation Competition, winning more than 10 national awards and more than 100 provincial and municipal awards. Students have applied for 11 state-level grand innovation projects and 10 provincial undergraduate entrepreneurship training projects. The graduates are mainly engaged in the work of education, translation, administrative management, international cultural communication and exchange in Chinese-foreign joint ventures, multinational corporations, financial institutions, news media, foreign affairs departments, and departments of primary and middle schools. The employment rate of all graduates is above 95%. Many of the graduates work for well-known companies at home and abroad, such as Siemens, Deloitte, Faway-Johnson and COFCO. Some graduates run foreign trade enterprises and training institutions independently, which have been widely praised by society.
