In 2015, the first Confucius Institute of JHUFL was established at the City University of New Jersey in the United States. A grand ceremony was held the 20th anniversary of the founding of Jilin Huaqiao University of Foreign Languages, as well as the 2015 Sino-Foreign University Presidents Forum. At the same time the History Museum of Jilin Huaqiao University of Foreign Languages opened. The first Sejonghakdang of Changchun was settled in our university and a Sino-foreign joint degree program was approved by the Ministry of Education. President Qin He, on behalf of members of the education circle, delivered a speech at the Third Plenary Session of the Third Session of the 12th CPPCC National Committee. The first Research Institution of Private Higher Education of Jilin Province was established in our university and we won the title of Collaborative Innovation Center of major demands and the first batch of Jilin Provincial novel college think tanks. Our university was approved to carry out a pilot program for the professional master’s degree in education (professional and technical education). The “College Student Moral Education” was selected as the seventh batch of “Excellent Video Open Course”. Our students won the special award of the 2nd “Dream Cup”—College Student Entrepreneurship Competition in Jilin Province and the gold and silver medals of the first “Internet +” of College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in Jilin Province. We also won the title of “Advanced Unit of Jilin Province”.
