School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship
On the afternoon of October 22nd, the JISU Appointment Ceremony of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Representatives and Report Meeting was held in the lecture hall of the library. Through class election and teachers’ recommendations, 172 students (2021) were hired as innovation and entrepreneurship representatives.
In order to promote the development and implementation of JISU students’ innovation and entrepreneurship projects as well as spread the relative teaching concept, the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship selected a representative from each class to build a communication platform and carry out the innovation and entrepreneurship education.
At the appointment ceremony, Xiao Bei, Dean of the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship presented letters of appointment to representatives, and hoped that all representatives could conscientiously convey relevant documents and policies on innovation and entrepreneurship as well as actively organize all kinds of related activities to assist the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship in related work and create a good atmosphere.
Hui Zixuan, the representative of grade 2019, and Zhao Xuanqi, the representative of 2021 freshmen, addressed successively, expressing their understanding of college students’ innovation and entrepreneurship. As practitioners and models, they will play a positive role in supporting the education of innovation and entrepreneurship and advocating ideas in this field, which will cause a further booming of innovation and entrepreneurship education at JISU.
Tian Miaomiao, Director of the Service Center for Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship, introduced the responsibilities of the innovation and entrepreneurship representatives in detail. She said that the representatives were actually a medium to connect students to the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Students can learn about innovation and entrepreneurship information through effective communication between the representatives and the school.
After the ceremony, Feng Xin, national lecturer and entrepreneur of ByteDance and Tremolo University, delivered a special report titled “Remembrance of My Entrepreneurship and Employment Past”, sharing his experience of participating in innovation and entrepreneurship competition and entrepreneurship story during his college years, which aroused a strong response from students.
This activity greatly stimulated students’ enthusiasm for innovation and entrepreneurship and laid a solid foundation to build a platform for innovation and entrepreneurship exchanges to better spread the concept and cultivate talents, thus promoting innovation and entrepreneurship education.
