        On September 7 and 8, the 2021 International Conference on Cooperation and Integration of Industries, Education, Research and Application and the 12th China-ROK University Presidents Forum had their opening ceremonies. The main forums were hosted in Changchun, China, as JISU participated online.

The 2021 International Conference on Cooperation and Integration of Industries, Education, Research and Application, was themed, “Facing the Future, Integrative Research and Education”, which was hosted under the guidance of the Ministry of Education and Jilin Provincial Government, and was undertaken by the Jilin Education Department, Jilin University, and four other colleges and universities. More than 360 academicians, presidents, experts, and scholars from over 18 colleges and universities, enterprises, and institutes attended this opening ceremony with thousands of students from 60 plus colleges and universities watching the live broadcast.

The 12th “China-ROK University Presidents Forum” was hosted by the Ministry of Education, which plays an important role in the people-to-people exchanges between China and South Korea since its establishment in 2007. This year, the forum chose its theme to be “Facing the Future, Integrative Research and Education” with representatives from 29 colleges and universities from China and 24 representatives from South Korea attending the forum (online or in-person). The Presidents of the colleges and universities in the two countries carried out exchanges centering on jointly cultivating scientific and technological talents and building a platform for integrated and innovative scientific research cooperation.

This participation has expanded JISU’s international exchanges and cooperation and advanced the progress of JISU’s education branding internationally.
