Recently, the selection result of the 2020 Outstanding Models of “Learn From Lei Feng” Volunteer Service in Jilin Province has been announced. The Youth Volunteer Service Association of JISU was rewarded as the "Jilin Province Outstanding Volunteer Service Organization". What’s more, Li Mingli, the Deputy Secretary of the Youth League Committee, Ma Zhenning and Wang Handuo were voted as "Outstanding Volunteer in Jilin Province", whereas Sue Kewei, Xiong Jiapeng, Wang Handuo, Zuo Qian, Sun Xiaorui were rated as "The Most Beautiful Volunteers Fighting Against the Epidemic in Jilin Province".

This activity was arranged by the Central Civilization Office of the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee of the CPC and organized by 12 departments, including the Publicity Department of the Provincial Party Committee jointly with the Provincial Civil Affairs Departments, the Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment, the Provincial of Agricultural and Rural Department, the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, the Provincial Poverty Alleviation Office, the Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, the Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League, the Provincial Women's Federation, the Provincial Association for Science and Technology, the Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the Provincial Disabled Persons' Federation, and the Provincial Red Cross Society. After the recommendation, the preliminary selection, the solicitation of opinions, the publicity of the list and the deliberation of the ministerial conference, 411 provincial outstanding models of “Learn from Lei Feng” volunteer service in 2020 were finalized, including 50 excellent volunteer models and 361 outstanding volunteers.

This award means an affirmation and encouragement to the service level and comprehensive quality of volunteers from JISU. Under the guidance of the spirit to be “public-oriented” and “communication-oriented”, our volunteers will continue to work hard in volunteer service with full enthusiasm and responsible attitude, give full play to their professional expertise, and dedicate youthful vigor to our country and the revitalization of Jilin Province.
