Video Conference Held Between JISU in China and NJCU in America

At 8:00 on August sixth, New Jersey City University (NJCU) in America and Jilin International Studies University (JISU) in China held a video conference in the conference room on the second floor of the International Exchange Center.

Those who attended the meeting discussed several issues. First, they explored alternate options about how to continue promoting the cooperative education between NJCU and JISU under current circumstance of the alleviation of the epidemic. Second, they shared research and offered positive suggestions on topics such as the renewal of the cooperation agreements for co-establishment of Confucius Institutes and the cooperation pattern of the co-construction of Sino-foreign Language Education Exchange Centers.

During the meeting, President Qin He expressed her sincere appreciation for the continuous support of NJCU and the establishment of the Confucius Institutes and the Sino-foreign cooperation program. Meanwhile, she expressed her best wishes that JISU is willing to maintain a long-term cooperation with NJCU to positively explore new cooperation patterns, and steadily advance collaboration.

Sue Henderson (苏·亨德森), president of NJCU, expressed her appreciation for JISU's assistance during the corona virus prevention and control period. In addition, she says that after years of cooperation, JISU and NJCU have fostered an enduring friendship and close partnership. She hopes to further improve the exchanges and cooperation to achieve a higher status of two universities’ education career.
