Recently, JISU’s 2002 graduate Pang Yanji donated a thermal imaging body temperature measurement system worth about 150,000 yuan to the school. At present, the device has been installed in the teaching area, which will play an important role in the students’ resumption of classes.

Pang Yanji became a college student majoring in foreign law at JISU in 1998. After graduation, she was admitted to Shanghai Foreign Studies University as an undergraduate. She is currently serving as the Business Director of the Americas in Shenzhen Jingyang Technology Co., Ltd.
She said sincerely, “Along the way, I always wanted to thank JISU, because coming to this school was my first step in growing up. After graduation I left JISU, but I still missed the school often. As long as there is a chance, I will go back to JISU to visit teachers and look at the beautiful campus. Reminiscing about the past life of JISU, I still remember the teachers’ responsibility. As the old Chinese saying goes, ‘A strict teacher cultivates a highly-skilled professional’. When I entered into society, I found out that, ‘Great achievements begin with trivial matters,’ and, ‘Be simple, do the practical thing’ were lessons that I learned from my school life. They made me acquire achievements and gain recognition from leaders and colleagues.”
“Although I graduated nearly twenty years ago, I am concerned about the development of JISU. The alma mater keeps moving forward step by step, from junior college to undergraduate to postgraduate education, now there will be a doctoral program. I have taken pride in it as a part of JISU.” Pang Yanji said excitedly, “During the outbreak of COVID-19, we alumni continue to be concerned about the health of teachers and students at JISU. I have been working with the foreign business of this system. Thinking that it would facilitate JISU’s resumption of class, I immediately donated the device to the university. I hope I can dedicate my efforts to the prevention of the pandemic for JISU. I sincerely wish for teachers and students to stay healthy.”
