On the afternoon of April 22, the Teaching Development Center held the “Online Teaching Design Exchange Conference for New Teachers” to further help our new teachers complete online teaching and guarantee online teaching quality. Nine new teachers participated in the online group discussion and one-on-one communication through the network.

This activity was hosted by Chen Jing, Director of Teaching Development Center. She commented on the teaching outline submitted by new teachers and explained how to solve the problems and confusion teachers encountered during the online teaching. Teachers also shared their solutions targeted at various issues including teaching procedure and process design, class interaction, the focus on the students’ autonomous learning, online assessment and online teaching modes of different studies during their practice of online teaching.

During the two-hour meeting, teachers expressed that they had broadened their minds, and accumulated beneficial experience from online teaching by communicating and sharing, which laid a foundation for launching online teaching smoothly.
