On April 8, to implement the requirement of Jilin Provincial Department of Education and highlight the role of colleges and universities in serving local economic development, JISU held the Online Recruitment Fair of Jilin Provincial Colleges with the motto --“Famous Companies Coming to Jilin and Boosting Dreams”.

Two hundred and twenty six high-quality companies based in Jilin , Liaoning, Beijing, Shandong, Zhejiang, Guangdong and other provinces and cities participated, including Jilin Jigang Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd., China Geo-Engineering Corporation International Ltd. , Tianjin Samsung Display Co., Ltd. Co., Ltd.,  Inner Mongolia Yili Industrial Group Ltd., Three Squirrels Co., Ltd., New Oriental Education &Technology Group Co., Ltd., Beijing Xueersi Education Technology Co., Ltd., China Huaxi Enterprise Co., Ltd., Genpact (Dalian) Co., Ltd., Shandong Electrics and other listed companies and 105 “Fortune 500” companies. Overall, they provided opportunities for 16,092 jobs in import and export trade, education, Internet e-commerce, real estate construction, consulting services, processing and manufacturing, and so on. This fair attracted lots of graduates. There were 1090 resumes sent online, and the employers gave 141 offers on the same day.

In order to promote graduates’ employment during this global pandemic, JISU attaches great importance to online employment services and proactively prepares and offers related services. By doing things such as launching the online fair, broadening the online channels for graduates’ employment, and assisting graduates to complete online contracting, the school ensures that their graduates have ample opportunity to land high-quality jobs during such a difficult time.
