Accompanied by staff members of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Changchun Municipal People's Government, Liu Zheyuan, Deputy Secretary General of the Overseas Chinese Association of Belarus, and the other delegates visited JISU on December 13. Vice President of JISU Wang Jie and other relevant personnel warmly received them.

The delegation visited the teaching facilities, including the Global Village, library and International ExchangesCenter. They highly praised our university and educational philosophies, “To nurture upright, talented, and successful international citizens who understand both Chinese culture and other cultures of the world”, and “Dedication, Care, Knowledge and Effectiveness”. At the same time the delegation were deeply impressed by the diverse cultural atmosphere.

After that, the two sides had an in-depth talk on the exchanges and cooperation with Minsk State Linguistic University, the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts and the Belarusian State University of Sports. They agreed to cooperate further to improve translation, graphic design, and sports programs among many others aspects.

This visit has strengthened the relationship between JISU and the education circle of Belarus and is a step towards increasing international exchange and providing new opportunities for students.
