On the morning of December 17^th US local time, President Qin He, along with the delegation of Confucius Institute Council of JISU and New Jersey City University, jointly convened the 2019 Confucius Institute Council. The members of the meeting re-elected new directors, heard the report made by Chinese-foreign deans about fund utilization and work of the institute, and put forward positive suggestions for the current challenges and future development of the council.

President Qin He signed an Education Cooperation Agreement with Sue Henderson, President of New Jersey City University

On the morning of December 18^th US local time, President Qin He talked with Sue Henderson, President of New Jersey City University, reached a consensus on furthering the international cooperation between these two universities, and signed a memorandum of cooperation. In the meantime, she signed a tripartite cooperation agreement with the NJCU and three other community colleges of New Jersey to jointly launch the Project “2+1+1” Studying Abroad for American students.

Moreover, President Qin He and other leaders visited Confucius Institute of JISU, showing care and concern to the faculty and volunteers, and talked closely with students of the finance major who joined in the first Chinese-foreign schooling project at New Jersey City University. She learnt about the experience and feelings of those students studying there, encouraged them to study harder and cherish the opportunity of studying in US and to improve themselves. Students said that they thank JISU for offering the opportunity of studying abroad and will live up to the expectancy of President Qin He by learning professional knowledge and skills in order to become high-quality talents with international vision.
