At the meeting
On December 4th, the Jilin Province Ice and Snow Economic Development Conference was held in Changchun. Jing Junhai, Deputy Secretary and Governor of the province, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. A thematic video was played about the development and innovation of the Ice and Snow Industry. The Jilin Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism issued the “Promotion the Leap from the Ice and Snow Industry to the Ice and Snow Economy” Initiative. Provincial departments, municipal and county governments and relevant businessmen made their statements. After the meeting, the launching ceremony of the Provincial Ice-Snow Tourism Activities for the 2019-2020 snow season was held.
The Launching Ceremony
More than 30 teachers and students from the School of International Culture and Tourism, School of International Economics and Trade, and School of International Business Management were invited to attend the meeting; they carefully listened to the leadership speech, witnessed the launching ceremony, and visited the Cultural Tourism Complex Project “The You Mountain” (There is a mountain here.). They all said that, through this activity, they have learned more about the development of the Ice and Snow Economy and its future trend, which helps us to strengthen disciplines, deepen education reform and innovate talents cultivation. Each school will fully utilize our advantages and features, through an applied-oriented talents cultivation plan, promotion of industry-school integration and cultivation of high-quality professional talents for full provincial revitalization.
