School of International Art

On November 21st, The School of International Art at JISU was officially established, opening a new chapter for promoting the construction of a new liberal arts training model for innovation and applied talents. It will also help with the cultivation of international application skills.

The new School of International Art is relying on the advantages of the school in foreign language teaching and international exchange and cooperation. They have accepted the training mode of "Learning two new languages with professionalism", so that students can practice bilingual teaching and strengthen their foreign language learning in the four years of university. In addition to the learning of basic theory some of the other goals are mastering professional and technical knowledge, cultivating practice, and innovation ability. At the same time, JISU has adopted the "2 plus 2" training method combining "domestic and foreign." This will include strengthening cooperation with international universities who are current partners of education, enhancing international academic exchanges, encouraging results, and building a professional learning platform for the school that actively promotes the integration of art majors and foreign language resources. Some of the advantages that are provided by including the new arts college are that it will highlight the concept of "foreign language specialization and professional characteristics", so as to cultivate the applied, dual learning and international-oriented art talents with comprehensive development of knowledge, creating ability and personality, and the formation of running characteristics different from other art colleges.

The School of International Art currently has Art Education, Broadcasting and hosts art majors. It will continue to open visual communication, design, and other art majors. The comprehensive nature of the school's majors builds a platform for students to learn and practice.  The establishment of interdisciplinary knowledge background enables students to go deeper and further on the road of future art exploration.
