Students of JISU win Third Prize in the First Indonesian Oral Contest of Chinese Universities

On November 16 and 17, the First Indonesian Oral Competition of Chinese Universities and the 2019 Chinese-Indonesian Youth Advanced Forum was held in Beijing Foreign Studies University. Zhou Haoli, Indonesian Ambassador to China, attended the event and delivered a speech. Over 100 experts and scholars from more than 20 universities and research institutions in China and Indonesia attended the forum. Jing Lu, an Indonesian major of JISU from class 1801 won the third prize in the junior grade group.

26 contestants of 13 universities’ Indonesian major were divided into two grades: junior group and senior group. With the theme of “Indonesia and Me”, they told the audience their stories in Indonesian. Jing won the praise of the judges and guests for her good performance, high language proficiency and calmness which demonstrated the competency of JISU students.

The competition was an examination of the Indonesian talent cultivation of JISU, which has facilitated education, reformed teaching and enhanced talent cultivation.
