President Qin He Attended the National Seminar on the Cultivation of Students Studying Tourism in Private Colleges and Universities

On June 24th, the first Seminar on the Cultivation of Students Studying Tourism in Private Colleges and Universities and the Changbai Mountain Academic Forum was held in Changchun. JISU President Qin He, who is also the vice president of the China Association of Private Education, was invited to attend the conference.

Over 300 people were present including representatives from various Chinese private universities, heads from the Bureau of Tourism at municipal and county levels in Jilin Province, heads from major tourism enterprises inside and outside the province, experts, scholars, and teachers from local universities.

This seminar and academic forum is hosted by the tourism education branch of the China Tourism Association and the Changchun University’s School of Tourism. With a focus on “Cultivating Tourism Majors in Private Universities in the New Era of Culture-Tourism Integration” and “Developing New Ways to Promote the Recreation Industry for Deeper Integration of Culture and Tourism,” this event was a grand meeting for academic discussion which will lead to further progress within the industry.
