Recently, Ministry of Foreign Affairs has written to HQUFL in gratitude for our strong support of popularizing foreign affairs on campus.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs has mentioned that HQUFL has given great attention to this activity. President Qin He hurried to the hall from Beijing. Yang Fumin, the Communist Party Secretary of the University, attended the activity and delivered a speech. Zhang Bin, Vice President and Secretary of Discipline Inspection presided over the activity. Wan Jie, Deputy Principal and Director of international exchange and cooperation, worked hard to make sure the activity went on smoothly. The Ministry stressed that more than 650 teachers and students who wore the same uniform and participated in the 4-hour event with high spirits impressed them deeply. The Ministry was very thankful for our contribution.

The popularization of foreign affairs on campus, sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was held on September 28th.  Liao Liqiang, the Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs Management, Meng Yuhong, Counselor of the Department of Consular Affairs, and Wang Xiaodu, the Ambassador of Yellow Sea Affairs gave reports for our faculty and students. They gave wonderful reports on the diplomatic and foreign affairs for the new era of domestic development, the new era consular work situation and tasks, China's border and ocean issues, and typical diplomatic cases for our teachers and students.

The activity greatly inspired our teachers and students who pointed out that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs held this activity just after the National Education Conference, reflecting the great concern of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the cause of education. The activity provided our staff and students with not only a deeper understanding of the complexity of foreign affairs, but also a grander perspective on international outlooks.
