Introduction

The School of International Culture and Tourism (SICT) now offers two undergraduate programs of Tourism Management and Hotel Management with specialized directions of Smart Tourism Management, Ice & Snow Tourism Management, and International Hotel Management. Based on the strong economic strength and social resources of enterprises and local governments, SICT shares teaching resources and builds internship bases with tourism enterprises and government departments. Currently, there are over 20 well-known off-campus internship bases, such as tourism enterprises, public institutions and luxury hotels. These bases can meet the practical requirements of SICT on talent training and strengthen the close cooperation between the school and different enterprises. These measures not only effectively improve the pertinence, appropriateness, and effectiveness of talent training, but also exert positive effects upon tourism enterprises, public institutions, and local economic development.
