The International Business School was originally founded in 2005, and was newly established in 2021 through the integration and optimization of departments. The school has a team of professional and part-time Chinese and international teachers with cultivated teacher ethics, excellent professional quality, strong scientific research ability, and rich practical experience. 54% of the teachers are doctors or PHD candidates, and the level of internationalization is relatively high. Teachers with doctoral and master's degrees and overseas experience account for 45%. The school has two “Provincially Outstanding Teachers”, one teacher honored as “Youth or Middle-aged Professional and Technical Personnel with Outstanding Contributions in Jilin Province”, and one “Promising Young Teacher in Jilin Province”. The International Business School boasts two disciplines - Economics and Management, and covers 8 undergraduate majors, such as International Economics and Trade, Finance, Economics, E-Commerce, Accounting, Marketing, Human Resource Management, and Business Administration. In addition, it carries out an Undergraduate Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education Project on Finance with New Jersey City University (NJCU) in the United States. It sets four authorized units, namely the Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of International Business (MIB), Master of Professional Accounting (MPAcc), and Master of Finance, and undertakes the postgraduate training of the Master of Education (vocational and technical education field - finance and business category). With a total enrollment of more than 2,200 students, the International Business School is one of the schools with the largest teaching scale in Jilin International Studies University (JISU). After years of accumulation and development, the school has gradually formed its characteristics and advantages in the fields of International Economics and Trade, International Business, and International Finance. Therein, the major of International Economics and Trade is rated as one of the first-class majors in Jilin Province, and selected as an A-class major with high-level characteristics in Jilin Province. The course “International Trade Practice” has been approved as the A-class “Golden Course” project in Jilin Province.
