Hello, everybody. My name is Shen Shirong. It is a great pleasure to see you here. I am a little nervous when I am on stage. I’d love to say that this competition is a brand-new experience for me. I not only have acquired knowledge, but also learned to embrace everything and treat others more friendlily since I came here. There are many excellent contestants on this stage, and they all share their own stories. I feel deeply touched by their stories and also can’t help thinking about myself. Next, I also want to share my story with you. Time flies by, it’s already been 261 days since I came to China. When I first arrived, I felt a little uncomfortable and found it difficult to get accustomed to everything around me. To me, Chinese is the most difficult thing to learn. I could barely understand at first. It was also hard in my daily life, and the environment was strange to me. My postgraduate life here is bittersweet. At the very beginning, I felt confused because all my friends either got a job or took trips while I’m still at the school. Later on, my supervisor, teachers and friends came to comfort me and help me out of the hardships. I am so grateful to them. In addition, I have a lot of fun studying here. Most of my classmates are Chinese and they all come from different places in China. Living and studying with them, I got to know various dialects and cultures, which I think is interesting. Of course, my Chinese has improved a lot because of this favorable environment for language learning.
Finally, I want to say that I have a special bond with Changchun. My name is Shen Shirong, and there is also a Shi Rong Road in Changchun. This is so cool. Changchun is such a beautiful city. I love it. I also love JISU and China. Thank you all! I wish you a good mood every day.
