Professor Tan Liben, a Changchun native, graduated from Jilin University of Finance and Trade, majoring in Trade and Economics.

He formerly served as the director of the Chinese International Trade Association, the Executive Director of the Jilin Province International Trade Association, a member of the expert consulting group of CPC of Changchun Municipal Committee, an economic adviser of Hun Chun Municipal Committee of Jilin Province and the Dean of the Department of International Economics of Changchun Taxation University. He has been teaching international trade courses for over 30 years. His main research direction is international trade theory and practice.

He has been awarded the title of University-Level Excellent Teacher, Innovative and Advanced Individual, Outstanding Young Teacher mentor, and Advanced Individual of Talent Cultivation.
