Recently, a delegation consisting of Nguyen Quoc Si, Head of the Chinese Language Department of Ton Duc Thang University in Vietnam, Kong Minh Thai, Deputy Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchanges, and Bui Ngoc Ha, a Specialist from the News and Public Relations Office, visited Jilin International Studies University (JISU). Wang Zhiguo, Vice President of JISU, met with the visiting delegation. Song Dandan, Dean of the School of International Exchange and Cooperation, and Bai Kecheng, Deputy Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office, participated in the exchange and negotiation.

The delegation took a tour of the library, the Global Village, and the International Exchange Center. They affirmed and praised the international education environment created by JISU and also had exchanges and interviews with Vietnamese international students.

At the negotiation meeting, the two sides had in-depth discussions on the “2+2” Chinese double-degree program, the establishment of a preparatory education center, internship bases, the short-term exchange program, and summer program. Both sides unanimously stated that this visit and exchange had enhanced mutual understanding and laid a solid foundation for international cooperation. They look forward to carrying out more forms of exchanges and cooperation in the future and jointly promoting the vigorous development of the educational undertakings of the two universities.
