The philosophy of school running adheres to two ideas: “All we do is to ensure the students grow up talented, useful and successful” and “We must be worthy of the students’ time, parents’ trust, social concern and the conscience of educators.” The school has always emphasized that “No students who should be left behind.” and “Responsibility of education is as heavy as the Mountain Tai”. That year the student enrollment reached 2700 with a land acquisition area of 350,000 square meters in the Jingyue Tourism Development Zone; a new campus was under construction with Qinghua University Design Institute as the designer.

In the same year, President Qin He won the title of “Outstanding Private Entrepreneur of Jilin Province” and was named “The Eighth Ten Outstanding Young Entrepreneur of Jilin Province”. In August, President Qin He, as a representative of China’s private universities, attended the “New Century Female President International Forum on Development Strategy of Higher Education” and delivered a speech at the meeting.
