The Institute of International Communication is an important platform designed to meet the strategic needs of China’s international communication efforts, promoting cultural dissemination and international exchange in Northeast China and the Northeast Asia. Leveraging the geographical advantages of Northeast Asia, the institute is guided by the needs of advancing the Belt and Road Initiative and the comprehensive revitalization and opening-up strategy of Jilin Province. Through cultural integration and mutual learning among civilizations, it focuses on empowering the cultivation of talent for China’s international cultural communication with digital technologies. The institute conducts systematic research in areas such as national translation and international communication capacity building, translation of Northeast China’s unique cultural elements, international communication language services, international ice-snow tourism communication, and international Chinese education and cultural dissemination.
