Recently,theEducation Department of Jilin Provinceannounced thelist of2020excellentonlineopen courses for undergraduate universitiesin Jilin Province. Amongthe chosen were tencourses fromJISU. Up to now,there are twelve excellentprovincial-levelonline open coursesfromJISUin total.

Thesetenselected courses include:Comprehensive EnglishCourseIVby Li Xiaolinfrom the School of English,International Trade (English)by Wang Jianhui,English Writingby Zhao Xiangyu,Comprehensive EnglishCourseIIby Zhang Lin,Elementary Comprehensive Korean IIby Sheng Hui,Elementary Japanese 1by Yingshi,International Tradeby Xue Xue fromtheSchool ofInternational Business,Strategic Managementby Zhao Zixiang,Practical Russian Grammar I-IVby Zhang Wei fromtheSchool of Central and Eastern European Languages,andComprehensive French Intermediate IIby Zhao Binbin from theSchoolof Western Languages.

In recent years, JISUhasactively promotedthe construction of onlineopen courses. We adhere to theprinciple ofapplicabilitywith the construction and application of online open courses as the starting point, to further the advancesofreform inclassroom teaching, to optimize the reconstruction of course content andsystem,and constantly deepen the integration of information technology and education &teachingtoimprovethe cultivation of talents.

In the next step, JISUwill continue to focus on the constructiveobjectivesof online open courses put into place by the Ministry of Education and Jilin Province, to give full play to the advantages of disciplines and professional as well asmodern educational technology, and to buildonline open courses with high-quality on teaching content and sound effects. We will continually make stepsto improve teachers’information literacy and theirabilitiesofinformation technology to develop teaching, so as to rise up the level ofeducationandcultivation of the talents.
