Recently, Changchun city’s education, science, culture, health and sports system announced the results of “the Models of Professional Ethics” selection activities. Ren Xueyan, Deputy Director of the Student Affairs Office of JISU, was awarded the title of “Model of Teachers’ Ethics” in Changchun city.

Ren Xueyan has won many honors, such as Nation-wide Outstanding Counselor of Private Colleges and Universities, Outstanding Communist Party Member of Colleges and Universities in Jilin Province, and Advanced Individual of Spiritual Civilization Construction in the Changchun “College Spiritual Civilization Cup”. Since she started working, Ren has always educated students by casting the soul, and the in-depth study of the JISU’s “2+N” college students’ ideological and political work mechanism. She has been constantly promoting the standardization of “Ten Education”, establishing a research team for learning and building dreams, and pushing forward towards in-depth development of ideological and political work of the university. She guided the Entrepreneurship Project of college students to win the National Bronze Award and Provincial Gold Award in the “Internet +” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition for college students. Her class management experience won the second prize of the National Class Management Innovation Case of Private Colleges and Universities in 2019. She was also awarded the title of Outstanding Counselors of National Private Colleges and Universities in 2019.

The selection activity was jointly launched by the Propaganda Department of Changchun Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Education Committee of the CPC Changchun Municipal Committee, Changchun Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, Changchun Education Bureau, Changchun Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism Bureau, Changchun Health Committee and Changchun Sports Bureau. The activity aims to thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping’s thoughts on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era and spirits of the 19th CPC National Congress, and the 2nd and 3rd Plenary Sessions of the 19th CPC National Congress. In doing so, it hopes to vigorously carry forward socialist core values and to promote the construction of professional ethics for staffs and workers in the education, science, culture, health and sports systems by following the advanced examples of Huang Danian and Zheng Derong. A number of new era professional ethics construction models will be selected to guide the majority of workers to cultivate, establish, learn and teach by virtue, so as to gather strong positive energy for Changchun’s comprehensive and all-round revitalization.
