On the afternoon of October 7th, a symposium on curriculum construction was held in the lecture hall of International Exchange Center.Associate professor Wang Xiangdong, the Deputy Director of the Academic Affairs Office of Northeast Normal University, was invited togive a report entitled"Preliminary Study on National First-class Curriculum Construction and Application" to the teachers of JISU.

Wang Xiangdong, an associate professor and doctoral supervisor, is currently the deputy director of the Academic Affairs Office of Northeast Normal University, the Vice Dean of the Teacher and Education Research Institute, and the associate professor of the School of Geographic Sciences. In the report, combining with the basic task of imparting knowledge and cultivating personnel, the basic standard and the important speech spirit that "We should build an educational system that provides all round training in students’ morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics and labor to form a higher-level talent training system" which was put forward by General Secretary Xi Jinping, and focusing on the viewpoint of "Curriculum is the core element of talent training.", he gave an elaborate speech on "How to construct and apply national first-class curriculum" respectively from three perspectives, including educators, administrators and applicants.

The participating teachers expressed that this analysis of project application for the first-class curriculum helped them deepen their understanding and thinking of the curriculum construction, further stimulate their enthusiasm for the project application of first-classcurriculum construction, which will play a positive role in promoting the curriculum construction of JISU and improving the level of scientific research work.
