From September 5 to 7, the final for the 6th Jilin Province College Students’ “Internet Plus” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Award was held. 45 projects in JISU were under consideration for the final, wining 4 gold awards, 9 silver awards and 21 bronze awards. Amid all the projects, the“Agglomerate Mental Efforts---New-style Professional High-level Human Resources Provider Driven by New Liberal Arts” won the second prize of the Gold Prize Ranking Award in Higher Education Focal Point, advancing in the national contest.

Affected by the epidemic, the guidance of the school-level and provincial contest this year were held online. Projects for contests within JISU are also guided on the internet. On July 24, JISU conducted the preliminary contest of the 6th Jilin Province College Students’ “Internet Plus” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Award. Since the opening of the contest in April, there have been 898 projects submitted across the campus involving media, literature, education, human resources and other fields. After final review, 4 projects including “Agglomerate Mental Efforts---New-style Professional High-level Human Resources Provider Driven by New Liberal Arts” , “Chinese Ink Culture”, “ Beihu Education for more Care of Children”, and“Little Yellow Fish Media” won the gold awards. 9 projects including “Environmental Protection Team of Changbai Mountain & Sonehua River Wetland Envoy” and others received silver awards, and 21 ones including “Achieving Leaping Progress of Enterprise” won the bronze awards.

Wang Dandan, a Business English major who started at JISU in 2016, the project leader of “Agglomerate Mental Efforts---New-style Professional High-level Human Resources Provider Driven by New Liberal Arts”, says, “No one will succeed on the first try, or is plain sailing. ‘One minute on the stage needs ten years practice off stage.’ This contest deepened my understanding of these mottos. I am grateful for JISU for providing an opportunity to enhance our entrepreneurial skills. I really hope that more students will gain experience and expand their horizons through innovation and entrepreneurship activities.”

“Chinese Ink Culture” Project Online Roadshow

Wang Yunyun, an E-Commerce major (class 1702) and the leader of “Chinese Ink Culture”, says, “the contest gave me the chance to consider comprehensively my own entrepreneurial skills and keep furthering my dedication to entrepreneurship. I wish that I can continually improve myself to make my entrepreneurial dream come true by virtue of the platform built by JISU.”

“Beihu Education for more Care of Children” Project Online Roadshow

Lu Peilin, an Art of Broadcasting and Hosting major (class 1801) and the leader of “Beihu Education for more Care of Children” project, says, “we are improving ourselves endlessly after continuous perfection through layers of screening. The extremely precious experience will stimulate us to continue to perfect our project, marching forward courageously for our entrepreneurial goals!”

“Little Yellow Fish Media” Project Team

Wu Yutong, a Tourism Management major (class 1802) and the leader of “Little Yellow Fish Media”, says, “the contest offers me the opportunity to meet a slew of outstanding teams andlike-minded partners, try more new fields, and accumulate valuable experience.”

Answering the call to “Urging learning with contest, spurring teaching with contest, and promoting innovation with contest” from the Ministry of Education, JISU strives to offer students the diverse growth potential of innovation and entrepreneurship, aiming to create a good environment to soundly support their innovation and entrepreneurship activities. JISU regards College Students’ “Internet Plus” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Award as an opportunity, counting creative education and teaching as the main position, and treating innovation and entrepreneurship activities as the general assignment. JISU will strengthen the construction of innovation and entrepreneurship base, produce a thick atmosphere ofinnovation and entrepreneurship, deeply integrate the education ofinnovation and entrepreneurship with the system of talents cultivation, establish the education chain of creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship, advance synergistically both innovation and entrepreneurship, and create a potent new force for mass entrepreneurship and innovation.
