In the past few days, the winner list of the 6th National College Foreign Language Micro-class Competition at the provincial level has been announced. In the English undergraduate level competition, teachers of the English School, Zhang Lin and Zhao Xiangyu teams, as well as Qin Si’s team, won the first prize and qualified for the national final; Zhao Zijun, a teacher of the English School, won the second prize; Chen Jiahui, Luo Wenjing’s team, Wang Haiou’s team, Zou Hong’s team, Liu Beibei’s team and Zhao Xin won the third prize. In the competition of the Japanese, Russian, German and French groups, Wan Biao, a teacher from the Japanese department in the School of Oriental Language, won the third prize.
The National College Teachers Teaching Innovation Competition---the 6th Foreign Language Micro-class Competition, was launched in March 2020. It was hosted by the China Association of Higher Education, sponsored by the Higher Education Press and jointly held by the College Foreign Language Teaching Steering Committee of The Ministry of Education. Its aim is to actively develop "Internet+" education, promote the transformation of learning methods, improve learning efficiency, and strive to promote the construction of new liberal arts.It also intends tocontinue to deepen the reform of foreign language teaching, explore new ideas and models of foreign language classroom teaching, as well as comprehensively improve the quality and level of foreign language teaching.
The award-winning teachers expressed that they would actively explore the effective integration of information technology and practical teaching, earnestly promote teaching reform, and comprehensively improve the quality of teaching and personnel training.
