Recently, the research project application and evaluation process of 2020, launched by the Jilin Ethnic Affairs Commission, came to a successful end. The project "Research on the Rearrangement and Translation of the Minority Cultural Books in Jilin Province" and other eight projects, which were produced by JISU, have been approved as the Jilin Province Ethnic Affairs Commission projects for 2020. The projects include four key projects, five general projects, mainly covering the study of the rearrangement and translation of the minority cultural books in Jilin province, the research of the development of cultural tourism, the translation of literature and research on communication, the integration research on folk culture and the ice-snow tourism, and other fields.

It is the first time that the Jilin Province Ethnic Affairs Commission sponsored the research projects. The Center for the Study of Chinese Ethnic Minorities in Jilin Province and the Jilin Provincial Society of Nationalities are in charge of the application process project evaluation, announcement and follow-up management, etc. The project shall be reviewed and approved by experts and leading scientific research groups from the Provincial Commission of Civil Affairs in line with the stipulations ofMeasures of the Provincial Ethnic Affairs Commission (Bureau of Religious Affairs)for the administration of scientific research and other relevant provisions.
