On the evening of May 17, all classes of JISU attended an online class under the organization of counselors.

Themed “Join the Army, to Temper Your Character with Strength and Specialty; Enter the Service, to Serve Your Country with Integrity and Patriotism”, this class aimed to comprehensively publicize the national recruitment policy, further promote soldiers’ fine practice of diligence and perseverance, and guide students to establish the goal of loving and serving their country. At the meeting, the policies on enlisting college students to join the army in 2020 were thoroughly publicized, and the advanced deeds and touching stories of the enlisted or retired college students were widely shared. The counselors also gave detailed answers to the enlistment questions raised by students after their watching a promotional video.

This online class has created a strong response from the students that they all realized the significance of joining the army and have gained a deeper understanding of the Chinese dream and the dream of building a powerful military. Many students promised that they will keep in mind General Secretary Xi Jinping’s earnest entrustment, to pass on the red gene, the spirit of Communist Party of China, of serving their country,to make their own dream come true through the realization of the Chinese dream and the military dream, as well as write their new chapters of life in the green barracks.
