As the Two Sessions of China are approaching, in accordance with the requirements of the State Administration of Taxation and the Jilin Provincial Taxation Bureau, the Changchun Municipal Taxation Bureau has carried out an activity of visiting deputies to the two sessions. On May 14th, officials led by Li Changhai, Party Secretary and Chief of Changchun Jingyue High-Tech Industrial Development District Taxation Bureau affiliated to the State Administration of Taxation, visited JISU, and interviewed the NPC deputy, Qin He. They investigated and surveyed the school’s education and teaching environment.

During the interview, President Qin He introduced the non-profit schooling of JISU and its development. She expressed her gratitude to the taxation departments at all levels in the province and urban areas for their strong support for the school. She also highly praised the series of tax and fee reduction policies issued by the state. In particular, the reforms and policies on social security and personal taxation and the innovative measures of digital taxation services in recent years have truly benefited the teachers and enabled them to devote themselves entirely to education and teaching.

Party Secretary Li Changhai responded with several points to which JISU has always adhered. Public welfare and non-profit schooling has provided a large number of high-quality application-oriented talents of foreign languages and foreign affairs for the construction of the “Belt and Road Initiative” and local economic and social development. These reforms have held good reputations across society for its great educational efforts. It has been refreshed by its dignified school ideas, objective top-level plan, internationalized administrative features, and the established renowned university goal. He believed that under the leadership of President Qin He, and the joint efforts of all teachers and students, JISU would definitely make greater contributions in realizing a comprehensive rejuvenation of Jilin Province. As officials in the local tax department, they promised that they would do their best to promote the development and construction of JISU.
