On April 23, the Teaching Development Center (TDC) launched online training about how to develop “PowerPoint Layout Design and Micro-class Production”. There were thirty-five teachers in attendance for the training.

This training included two parts. The first portion was presented by Zhang Nana, a teacher from TDC who made the PowerPoint layout design training, which covered “Recognition of PowerPoint, Quick Production Skills of Simple PowerPoints, Production Skills of Complex PowerPoints, and Premium Materials for PowerPoint”. She showed the participants how to master the production theory and operating points online. The second part was an experience shared by a teacher from the English School on micro-class production. Teacher Zhang Yuhui, a first-prize winner in Jilin Province and also recieving the Excellence Award at the national level in The Fifth National Foreign Language Micro-Class Contest, shared her experience about skills, main points and instructions, etc.

The online training was praised by all teachers due to its thorough clarification of theory and strong practicality. Moreover, it established a platform for improvingthe level ofmicro-class production and fully wielding its positive influence on online teaching.
