Dear all female faculty and students of JISU:

Today is International Women's Day. Due to the epidemic prevention and control, we can’t gather together to celebrate this special occasion. Hence, I would like to extend my greetings to the female Staff and students of the school.

Faced with this epidemic, every female has been showing great perseverance, bravery, confidence, and thoughtfulness, proactively responding to the call of state and school, enhancing self-protection, and decreasing travel to make contributions to the fight silently. In particular, many female teachers are gravely devoted to their duty and truly care about their students, communicating with them by way of internet or phone calls, giving guidance in their studies and proper self-protection precautions against the coronavirus; plenty of female staff have stayed in their positions and made great endeavors to guarantee the smooth operation of the school and the enrichment of students’ and teachers’ lives; lots of female students bravely became “the ones who devoted a lot to helping others”, participating in the fight against the epidemic to spread the hope-filled spirit of JISU in reality. For all of those activities, I would like to express my gratitude to all of you.

At present, all Chinese people are at a crucial stage in the fight against the epidemic. We should make sure we stay healthy and strong. I wish that all female students and teachers keep confidence in victory, maintain a good state of mind, and study and work hard. Meanwhile, we should continue protecting ourselves physically, ensure the health of our family, contribute our time and energy to the fight in whatever ways possible, and prepare well for the semester’s upcoming work. The winter will go away and the spring will come soon! I am looking forward to eventually gathering with you at JISU once again.

I wish all female comrades a wonderful holiday, a healthy and safe family, and a good and happy life！
