In accordance with national and provincial regulations, JISU launched all of its services online, including career services, on February 12. University leaders have taken upon themselves new responsibilities to guide and provide technical support in order to ensure that the career service programs run smoothly. The leadership groups have been creating an atmosphere of “all teaching staffputting forth heart and soul”, to ensure graduates have the best support possible. The university also provides online course resources for career development and guidance in finding employment in order to make sure graduates can still find good employment during this uncertain time.

Due to federal regulations, JISU will call a halt to various on-site job hunting activities until further notice. Meanwhile, JISU has set up an online recruitment service WeChat account named “JISU Admissions and Employment”, where graduates can actively participate in online recruitment. Employers are advised to collect resumes electronically, simplify the interview process and adopt new media platforms. In this way, the job sector can keep moving forward and young graduates can move forward in their careers.

As for employment procedures we have postponed employment certification and simplified the acceptance procedure. Seals can be applied in advance by a supervisor and the employment department. Thus, for previous graduates all employment procedures and higher education qualification certifications can now be done online.

On the WeChat account “JISU Admissions and Employment”, a variety of services are offered. JISU provides a one-on-one online advising service for graduates who are searching for work. Various online lectures on employment policies, job skills training, therecruitment of civil servants, and postgraduate entrance examinations are also offered. JISU has also initiated an online “Resume Clinic” to instruct upperclassmen and graduates in how to prepare effective resumes and provides lectures from industry experts to teach them the necessary skills for the job application process. In this way, JISU is coming alongside its students to ensure they have the best support possible so they can start their careers with their best foot forward.
