On February 9, in order to comprehensively promote the prevention and control of pneumonia outbreaks of new coronavirus infections in Hubei students, the party committee of the school decided to establish a temporary Party branch within Hubei student epidemic areas.

Under the leadership of the school party committee, the temporary Party branch started to do many tasks, such as online studying, epidemic prevention publicity, psychological counseling and joint prevention and control. Now there are 11 student party members belonging to 2 party branches.

The branch will give full play to the role of fighting fortress in the epidemic prevention and control, and take the lead to resolutely implement the requirements of the party's central committee. They will do this to fully demonstrate the role of the Communist Party members and fully demonstrate the actions of the young vital forces and commandos. The branch will step forward bravely and take advantage of party members’ role modeling, contributing to winning the fight against the epidemic prevention and control.

The founding of the branch strengthened the Hubei students’ confidence and power in tackling with the epidemic. All student party members said that they would obey the Party's orders, actively participate in the fight against the epidemic, and implement all tasks in detail; they will strengthen learning and timely convey school policies and measures to students in Hubei, publicize scientific prevention knowledge, and urge to do quarantine and protect work, strengthen psychological counseling, and build a bridge of love between the school and students in Hubei.
