On December 23, a letter from the Public Security Bureau Immigration and Entry Administration of Jilin Province was delivered to JISU, showing their great appreciation for the translation work done by our teachers in the Northeast-Russian Far East Police Skills Exchange Event.
It was said that from November 17th to 22th, the Northeast-Russian Far East Police Skills Exchange Event was held in Jilin province withthe purpose of implementing aseries of consensuses reached by the Department of Public Security of Jilin Province, provincial committees and provincial governments and local Russian governments, and further deepening exchanges and cooperation in the field of security. Under the coordination of the Jilin Translators Association, Yang Bailing, a Russian teacher at JISU, acted as the Russian interpreter who was responsible for the interpretation of Sino-Russian cultural exchange activitiess, where officials share experience in governing local public security, etc. As mentioned in the thank-you letter, Yang bailing's excellent professional skills helped to further deepen bilateral understanding and promote practical cooperation. Thus, she made positive contributions to local law enforcement cooperation between China and Russia. JISU was also complimented for the way it supports and cooperates with the international police law enforcement in Jilin Province.
