On November 30th, the 7th National College Spanish Dubbing Contest was held. Led by the instructor Sun Lin, five students from JISU's Spanish majors, Lu Yan, Liu Zhihuan, Du Siyang, He Jiarui, and Tang Shanshan, won third prizes for their outstanding performance.

This contest was hosted by the Spanish-Portuguese School of Beijing Foreign Studies University, sponsored by the Spanish-Portuguese Professional Group of Universities in Beijing, the Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press, and Eurasian, and invited Chang Fuliang, Dean of the Spanish-Portuguese School of Beijing Foreign Studies University Professors, Political Counsellor of the Spanish Embassy in China, Cultural Counsellor of the Embassy of Argentina in China, Cultural Press Specialist of the Embassy of Mexico in China, Head of Cultural Activities of Beijing Cervantes Institute, etc., served as judges.More than 40 teams from colleges and universities nationwide participated in the preliminary round. Eight teams won, and they competed with the top three teams in the sixth competition. JISU’s players won praise from judges and audiences with their solid language foundation and excellent on-the-spot performance.

Since the founding of the National College Spanish Dubbing Contest in 2013, it has become one of the important national Spanish professional competitions and also an important platform for exchange and learning of Spanish majors in various universities due to the professional judges, unique and innovative competition system, and wonderful audiovisual presentations.

This contest demonstrates theachievement of Spanish talents cultivation in JISU and stimulates students' learning motivation. It is of great significance to promote the construction of Spanish majors, deepen education and teaching reform, and effectively improve the quality of talent training.
