On November 20, the “Campus Tour of Northeast China for French Higher Education” was held in JISU. Elodie Franco-Ritz (Zhao Meilin), Consul for Culture and Education Cooperation of the Consulate General of France in Shenyang, visited JISU with 11 delegates from French universities and colleges.

This event aimed at strengthening Sino-French campus cooperation, establishing more exchange programs of new students, research scholars and double degree so as to facilitate students’ communication of two countries.

The two sides had friendly talks in the conference room on the second floor of International Exchange Center. Wang Jie, Vice President of JISU, introduced the development and international exchange of JISU. Ms. Zhao highly valued the ideal of JISU, and said she would support the international exchange and cooperation between JISU and French universities. The representatives from the 11 universities and the colleges introduced their universities and the related projects of receiving Chinese students respectively.

Later on, French representatives held the Study Abroad Project Promotion Meeting on the first floor of the International Exchange Center. More than 150 students of French, English-French bilingual and other majors of JISU attended the meeting.

This event helped to promote exchange and cooperation between JISU and French counterpartswhile broadening our international education.
