On October 21, the Opening Ceremony for the “National Training Program（2019）”— the Project of Young Teachers Classroom Teaching Competence Training for Junior High School English was held in theAuditoriumof International Exchange Center. Liao Anyong, Presidential Assistant, and Yang Yuchen, Dean of English School, and other teachers attended the ceremony. Fifty junior high school English teachers from Jilin province participated in the ceremony.

At the ceremony, Professor Yang Yuchen gave a comprehensive introduction and analysis of the overall curriculum design of the training program.

It is the fourth time that JISU hosted the “National Training Program” this year. In accordance with the overall scheme of the “National Training Program” of Jilin Province in 2019, the Provincial Department of Education entrusted JISU to carry out arduous preliminary investigations of the program, and actively convened to implement and coordinate various projects,all departments worked closely together to ensure the smooth progress of the National Training Program.

Wang Yang, a student representative of the program and a junior high school teacher from Tai An village of Yushu City, said, “Although it is only ten days, we all take it as a valuable opportunity to learn and think, and to broaden our horizons. It is a platform for us to communicate and improve ourselves. With the cordial care of leaders and teachers at JISU, we will effectively complete our assignments; and continuously improve our teaching skills so as to make greater contributions to the advancement of education.”
