On August 28th and 29th, the 13^thCongress of Jilin’s Women’s Federation was held in Changchun. 527 representatives from all walks of life, including representatives from the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions, carry the responsibility of women’s trust to attend the conference. Both Bayin Chaolu, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Provincial People's Congress Standing Committee, and Zhang Xiaolan,theVice ChairmanofAll-China Women's Federation and Secretary of the Secretariat delivered speeches. Jing Junhai, the Vice Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Governor also attended the meeting. As a standing member of Jilin’s Executive Committee of Women’s Federation, President Qin He attended the meeting and was elected as Vice Chairman of the 13th Jilin’s Women's Federation.

The conference reviewed the 12^thExecutive Committee reports of Jilin’s Women’s Federation and had group discussions regarding the content of the leaders’ reports. President Qin He said, “It is an important conference held at a critical time as Jilin takes actions to fully revitalize its economy at all directions, as well as a big event for Jilin’s women’s political life. Secretary Bayin Chaolu, on behalf of the provincial committee, has delivered a significant speech expressing his earnest hopes for women, which encouraged us. I will remain true to my original aspiration, undertake my duty and strive for education at first place so as to cultivate more talents and make contributions to Jilin’s revitalization and development.”
