On May 25th, President Qin He met with a 3-person visiting team delegated by Kim Young-Seup, President of Pukyong National University in the International Exchange Center.
Both sides reached a consensus and signed an educational cooperation agreement to develop and strengthen long-standing partnership, improve joint education programs, and make concerted efforts to cultivate high-quality talents endowed with sound international visions and better cross-cultural communication ability.
President Kim Young-Seup noted that deepening the cooperation programs will bear fruit in cultivating professional, inter-disciplinary, internationalized, high-quality foreign language talents who will thrive in the media sector. Those students will have greater language ability, more professional capabilities, and innovation-driven spirits.
The meeting laid a foundation to provide more opportunities for undergraduates majoring in Korean and focusing on media orientation to study abroad and will enhance the internationalization-oriented education at JISU.
