Recently, Jilin International Studies University (JISU) signed a Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement (SCFA) with Jilin Daily, which means that both sides will cooperate with regards to talent-sharing, the co-establishment of programs, discipline development, and international exchanges.

The cooperation aims to improve opportunities for students and increase the influence and competitiveness of Jilin Daily. This will in turn promote resources-sharing and coordinative innovation, resulting in mutual profit. JISU will assign extraordinary teachers to work in Jilin Daily and Jilin Daily will provide valuable internship opportunities for outstanding students. In addition, Jilin Daily will select top editors and reporters to instruct students at JISU and prepare them to do on-site work.

Both sides will work together to co-establish a Website and New Media major offered for students. Both parties will also work to create a high quality Master of Publishing (MP) program. Both will make joint efforts to form a high professional faculty team that will educate postgraduates and guide them as they conduct important research.

In conclusion JISU and Jilin Daily’s partnership will not only be mutually beneficial, but also have a positive impact on society as it will improve the quality of education for students and create valuable work opportunities domestically and internationally.
