Recently, the appraisal results of the 2018 Jilin Teaching Achievement Award have been officially released. Four prizes for teaching achievement in higher education were awarded to Jilin International Studies University: The Comprehensive Reform of Foreign Languages Teaching: The Construction and Exploration of “Global Village” Teaching Model hosted by President Qin He won the first prize; The Innovation Practice of Career-Oriented Practice Teaching System for Translation Majors won the second prize, The Establishment and Practice of “Double Closed Circle” Model for College Internal TQGS and The Exploration and Practice of College English Ecological Teaching Featuring Applied Talents Training won the third prize.

Awarded every four years, the Jilin Teaching Achievement Award is the highest-level prize in education and teaching granted by the Provincial government for outstanding achievements in Higher Education, Vocational Education and Basic Education. Our great success in this year’s award has fully demonstrated that the fundamental task of strengthening moral education and cultivating people has been seriously carried out and remarkable achievements have been made in educational reform in recent years. It is also vivid evidence of teachers seeking in-depth study and research in areas of talents training, educational reform, course construction and teaching quality guarantee.
