On November 23rd, a delegation from Czech-Chinese Open Mutual Education Association (CCOMEA) visited our school. Ming Sheng, the Director of Eastern Europe and Central Asia from the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government in Jilin Province, accompanied them during the visit. Wang Jie, Assistant President and Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Department, warmly received the visitors, together with Zhou Shujuan, Dean of School of Central and Eastern European Languages, and other officials.
The delegation visited our campus, including the global village, the center of practice teaching of language and culture, the international exchange center, library, etc. They had high praise for the great international atmosphere here, the orientation of cultivating talents who are practical, versatile and export-oriented, as well as the philosophy that we are committed to a student-centered development and provide the most responsible education.
Talks on education between the two sides were held in the conference room on the second floor of the international exchange center. Jessica Liu, President of the education communication association for mutual assistance between the Czech Republic and China, said that the association will give full play to the role of the bridge of the education communication and cooperation between the Czech Republic and China, build a platform for teachers' exchange, students' internship and exchange, and teaching and scientific research cooperation as soon as possible, and contribute to the major course construction of the School of Central and Eastern European Languages and the construction of the global village.
Founded in 2015 in the Czech Republic, the education exchange association for mutual assistance between the Czech Republic and China is a non-governmental and non-profit organization. Its goal is to promote cooperation and exchanges between the Czech Republic and China in the fields of investment, trade, high-tech and humanities.
This talk will start the cooperation and exchange between our school and Czech universities as well as small and medium-sized enterprises in various fields, which will play a substantive role in promoting the construction of related majors and international cooperation of our school.
