On November 7, 2018, the second session of the third executive board meeting of Jilin Province Youth Volunteers Association convened in Changchun. Zheng Weifeng, Deputy Secretary of Jilin Provincial Youth League Committee, delivered an address in the conference.

When new members of the association were voted, Jilin Huaqiao University of Foreign Languages (HQFUL) won a seat in the executive board of directors. Li Mingli, Deputy Secretary of HQFUL Youth League Committee, became a new executive director of the association.

During the conference, the list for substitute members of directorship was approved. Xu Guojun was elected Secretary-General of the association, and the Deputy Secretary-General was also appointed. The association’s legal person for registration was re-elected. A decision was made to set up the Corps of Special Voluntary Service, and a special program, Happiness +, was initiated.

The election of HQUFL highlights the recognition of our voluntary services by the Communist Youth League of Jilin Province and Jilin Province Youth Volunteers Association. This is an opportunity to build a greater platform for our future service missions. All the volunteers of HQUFL will be given new challenges to strive to be role models in the voluntary services of Jilin Province for the cause of building a harmonious and happy Jilin.
