The School of International Arts serves as JISU’s comprehensive base for cultivating international art talent. Its multiple disciplines provide a foundation for students to engage in interdisciplinary studies and artistic exploration. The school offers three undergraduate programs: Broadcasting and Hosting Arts, Visual Communication Design, and New Media Arts. The school boasts a dual-qualified faculty team composed of professors, teachers holding doctoral and master degrees, and invited experts and scholars from both domestic and international backgrounds. Leveraging JISU’s strengths in foreign language teaching and international exchange and cooperation, the school adopts a “major + foreign language” training model to cultivate applied, interdisciplinary, and globally oriented art talent with a strong sense of national identity and international perspective, cross-cultural communication skills, practical innovation abilities, critical thinking, distinct foreign language advantages, and solid professional expertise. The school strengthens cooperative education and academic exchanges with international universities, introduces high-quality resources, and builds professional learning platforms. It actively promotes the integration of art disciplines with foreign language resources, guided by the concept of “major+ foreign language,” which aims to cultivate applied, interdisciplinary, and globally oriented art talent with comprehensive development in knowledge, abilities, and character. The school is equipped with multiple training rooms and studios, such as piano rooms, art studios, broadcasting studios, computer design labs, theaters, and dancing studios. The Aesthetic Education Office of JISU, with its permanent administrative body founded in the School of International Arts, is responsible for teaching aesthetic courses and handling related daily tasks for JISU.
