The School of International Culture and Tourism was established in 2019. In November of the same year, JISU, in collaboration with enterprises such as Changbai Mountain Tourism Co., Ltd., established the International Ice and Snow Modern Industry Academy, a “trinity” model integrating school, government, and enterprise. The Academy is now recognized as one of the first provincial-level demonstration modern industry academies in Jilin Province and a national-level modern industry academy cultivation unit. The school offers two undergraduate programs: Tourism Management and Hotel Management, as well as a professional master degree program of Tourism Administration (MTA). The Tourism Management program cluster has been recognized as a “Demonstration Program Cluster for Transformation and Development in Jilin Province,” and the Changbai Mountain Ice and Snow Tourism Talent Customized Class has been approved as one of the first provincial-level cultivation projects for customized talent development in high-demand fields.
