Recently, the list of support and cultivation projects for high-quality ideological and political content construction of Yiban in 2025 was announced. The “AI Mini Station” of the School of Artificial Intelligence, the “Clarify Law and Promote Political Ideology” of the School of International Relations, and the official account “Students’ Affairs Office of Jilin International Studies University” have been awarded the “Cultivation Project for Quality Ideological and Political Content Construction”. Among them, the WeChat official account of the “Students’ Affairs Office of Jilin International Studies University” has received this honor for two consecutive years.
This selection targets new media accounts and high-quality ideological and political content from joint universities across the country. It aims to thoroughly implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, focus on building a number of university ideological and political new media accounts, and create online new media platforms with communication power, influence, guidance and credibility. During the selection period, Yiban organized experts in relevant fields to conduct a comprehensive review from aspects such as the foundation of content construction, content construction plan, student work team and expected results. After the university application, online defense, expert review and other links, the projects of 10 universities were finally selected as supported projects, and the projects of 55 universities were selected as cultivation projects.
The university has always attached great importance to online ideological and political work and innovatively constructed the “1 + 5 + N” linkage work mechanism.Under the guidance of the university’s Online Ideological and Political Work Leading Group, relying on the Online Ideological and Political Center, Yiban Development Center and College Students’ Converged Media Center, and taking the new media operated by various colleges and departments and the teacher-student online culture studios established based on majors as carriers, it has actively explored a new “overpass-style” online ideological and political work system with JISU characteristics that connects up and down, left and right, and inside and outside. Taking this opportunity, the university will continue to focus on the school-running characteristics, professional features and student traits, give play to the advantages of online new media platforms, extensively stimulate the enthusiasm of teachers and students in online creation, create excellent online cultural works that are ideological, creative and closely related to college students, and further improve the level of online ideological and political education.
