Recently, the 2025 International Chinese Language Day Exchange Event was held at Changchun University of Chinese Medicine. Organized by the Jilin Provincial Education Center for International Exchange, the event centered on the theme “Gifts Across Time: Cultural Integration of the Chinese Language and Traditional Chinese Medicine”. During the event, participating faculty and students carefully explored thematic exhibitions such as the General History of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Exhibition and the Local Medical Characteristics Exhibition. They gained firsthand experience in traditional TCM techniques like acupuncture and tuina massage, and actively participated in hands-on activities such as crafting herbal sachets and making “time capsules”. Through these diverse cultural exchange activities, attendees deepened their understanding of the Chinese language and traditional Chinese culture.
This International Chinese Language Day event combined Chinese language education with TCM culture and created a new form of spreading culture. By utilizing immersive interactive experiences to enhance participant engagement, it effectively promoted the international dissemination of the Chinese language and TCM culture.
