JISU Student Successfully Completes Internship at French Consulate General in Shenyang and Receives High Praise

Recently, Shi Fangyu, student from Class 2201 of the French (Multilingual Talent Program: French, English, and Spanish) major at the School of Western Languages, successfully completed her internship at the French Consulate General in Shenyang. With her solid language skills and rigorous, meticulous professionalism, she earned unanimous recognition from the Consulate staff and received high praise from both Chinese and foreign guests and leaders during multiple activities.

During the two-month internship, Shi Fangyu served as an Administrative Assistant in the Cultural, Educational, and Scientific Cooperation Department of the French Consulate General in Shenyang. She actively participated in various tasks across cultural, educational, and scientific fields, contributed to the organization and preparation of several large-scale events, and regularly researched developments in Sino-French cultural, educational, and scientific exchanges. Throughout her internship, she transformed her classroom knowledge into practical communication and execution skills, fully demonstrating the professional competence and intercultural communication abilities of a JISU student in a fully French-speaking work environment.

Shi Fangyu expressed that the internship gave her a deeper understanding and appreciation of diplomatic and foreign affairs work. She stated she will continue striving to master her professional knowledge and grow within JISU’s multilingual and multicultural learning environment.
